Not the Internet, but I've just invented it: Get iNTUiT is a
new formula for creative thinking. It's intelligence,
Naivete, Training, Understanding, ignorance, Technology. You need your innate intelligence and naivete; you also
need training, understanding with ignorance while exploring the world of digital technology! The Internet.
Did you know Faith helped Reason create the Internet? The
Internet was born like this. First, I say: With Faith in Man, the US government created the Advanced Research
Projects Agency Network, ARPANET, to enable computers to communicate with each
other: network. You have to believe before you act rationally. Then, I say: Based
on what AEDT says ("How The Internet Was Born: From The ARPANET To The Internet,"
03 November 2016, The Conversation, theconversation.com):
Reason helped the ARPANET Network
Working Group led by Steve Crocker make computers talk to each other – in
digital and human languages. Computers and
people talking to each other – that's the Internet in 7 words.
Where is Wisdom there? It's all over the Internet! It's all
over the Bible too. Choose your version of Proverbs 5:7: KJV: "Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and
with all thy getting, get understanding." NIV: "The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom. Though it
cost all you have, get understanding." NRSV: "The beginning of wisdom is this: Get
wisdom, and whatever else you get, get insight."
This time, let us equate Wisdom with Knowledge. Now, the
Bible is saying that Wisdom or Knowledge is not
enough: We need Understanding, we need Insight. I go with the NRSV: Wisdom or
Knowledge without Insight is nothing. You get Insight by Intuition. Intuition
is knowing without knowing how you know it. How?
Get iNTUiT
Note that when I write "Get iNTUiT" there is no
period; it's open-ended, In creative thinking, when you get into it, your mind
is open to all possibilities, probabilities, impossibilities, improbabilities.
All things considered, or some. Sometimes it turns out to be relationships
without borders. In real life, usually the
question comes first. When the answer
comes first, that is called insight.
Insight, says Herman Bondi, is "what we know without knowing how we know
it" (wisefamousquotes.com).
Get iNTUiT is mental, instrumental, fundamental,
environmental, documental, experimental, ornamental, sentimental, alimental,
supplemental, developmental, incremental, departmental, monumental, sacramental,
ornamental, rudimental – it's any or all of the above, and more, at any time.
In other words, nothing should stop your mind from thinking creative thoughts,
not even the irrelevant.
Especially not the negative! Learn from Edward de Bono's Po (I say Power) technique for brainstorming, where nothing is crazy or or
contradictory! Just welcome the process and watch as it leads you from thought
to thought.
Always remember: There are no creative word/idea relationships
until you find one.
That is to say, there is no logic or illogic – until you get
intuition by brainstorming, whether alone or with someone. But you need to
practice brainstorming, especially since it's a little bit like being crazy.
Into each life some rain must fall. Into each file some
brain must fall. Happy brainstorming everyone!
